New Legionnaires outbreak! A regular legionella test advised.

Warning and Precautions for Legionnaire’s

A regular legionella test of showers is advisable to avoid Legionnaire’s Disease!

There has been a new outbreak of Legionnaire’s Disease in Germany (Warstein).  This is in addition to the legionella outbreak in Spain which was reported in our previous blog.  Since our last blog, two more people have died from Legionnaire’s Disease in the new outbreak and another 165 people have been affected by it.

To avoid legionella developing in your showers our specialist team of industrial water chemists at Waterchemist Ltd are available to do a legionella test for you – simply – to avoid legionella (Legionnaire’s Disease) in your premises.

You should have a legionella test done regularly on samples of water from the shower to prevent legionella (Legionnaire’s Disease). We can do this very simply for you by visiting your premises on a regular basis.

If you prefer, you can operate by post.  We will send you a sample bottle which is returned to us with the water sample from the shower for us to organise the legionella test.  We then report back to you with the Certificate of Analysis of the legionella test from a UKAS accredited laboratory.

We cover the whole of the UK – but we operate mostly in the Midlands (ie Warwickshire, Staffordshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Worcestershire and the Shropshire areas).

Contact us for prices and for more information.

Don’t take risks – have peace of mind – and stay legal.
