Legionella Risk Assessment   (LRA)  . . .

Please be aware that many Local Authorities are now insisting that properties within their jurisdiction have a Legionella Risk Assessment, often referred to as an LRA.  Properties and businesses, such as schools, nursing homes, restaurants, hotels, cafes, pubs, in fact any business that has employees and/or the public that use their water facilities.

Be aware that many people have jumped on the band wagon and are now offering Legionella Risk Assessments, or LRA‘s, at so called ‘best prices’.  Be careful as they may turn out to be expensive in the long run.

It is important to ensure that the Legionella Risk Assessment assessors are qualified to do Legionella Risk Assessments.  If they are not and someone does contract Legionaires’ Disease it could prove to be a very expensive experience for your business.
